Hi, I’m a UX Designer at ATI Robotics with 2+ years of experience, working at the intersection of UX design, HMI, industrial robotics, and AI-assisted design-to-code workflows. With a background in Computer Science and a Master’s in Interaction Design from NIFT Mumbai, I design intuitive, scalable, and accessible experiences across HMI, cloud platforms, and design systems. I love all things tech and design especially problems that keep me thinking, solving, and iterating with AI-assisted tools. Outside work, I enjoy street photography, exploring typeface design, reading books, and hoarding more books than I can possibly finish.

I designed a series of email templates and screen ideations for the Swish Club eCommerce app, aimed at improving both user engagement and the overall interface experience. My work involved crafting visually appealing and functional designs that aligned with user needs and business goals. The email templates were designed to increase interaction through compelling calls-to-action and personalized content, while the screen ideations focused on streamlining the user journey, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience. Both elements were strategically created to enhance retention and user satisfaction within the app.



I enhanced the parking experience by applying design thinking principles, generating ideas, and wireframing user-friendly app interfaces to improve usability and convenience. Additionally, I developed visual designs for WOLP’s Technical Specification Book, working closely with architects to align designs with logistics park requirements. This collaboration ensured that the designs addressed both technical needs and practical challenges, creating an effective communication tool that bridged the gap between specifications and real-world applications, thus improving workflow and operational efficiency.

Design Systems can seem complex, but they don’t have to be. This is a simplified version (mainly through visuals) of Echo Design system. The project aimed to create a centralized design system for HP printer control panels, encompassing diverse screen sizes ranging from 2.4 inches to 22 inches. This system aimed to address inconsistencies in styles, reduce duplicated efforts, and enhance collaboration among designers.

This case study explores the redesign of the Rapido app, focusing on enhancing safety and building trust for female users. We aimed to address concerns related to hygiene, safety, and overall user experience, while also fostering a sense of emotional connection with the platform.

Rapido, a popular bike-hailing service, faced a challenge in attracting and retaining female users due to concerns about safety and hygiene. User interviews revealed anxieties about helmet cleanliness, route familiarity, and the lack of dedicated safety features.  The absence of essential information like waiting times and clear rider profiles further compounded the issue.

This lack of trust and assurance hindered the growth of Rapido's female user base, creating a need for design interventions that addressed these concerns.

To gain a deeper understanding of user needs and pain points, we conducted a series of user interviews with female Rapido users.

We also conducted a competitive analysis, examining features and functionalities offered by other ride-hailing platforms, particularly those targeting women.

Based on the research findings, we brainstormed design solutions focused on enhancing safety, building trust, and improving the overall user experience. Key concepts explored included:

We created wireframes to visualize the layout and flow of the redesigned app, prioritizing clarity and user-friendliness.

A high-fidelity prototype was developed in Figma, allowing for interactive testing and user feedback. The prototype incorporated the following key features:

The visual design aimed to create a calm and reassuring aesthetic, using a palette of soft colors and clear typography. Icons were carefully chosen to convey information effectively and minimize cognitive load.

Usability testing was conducted with target users to gather feedback on the redesigned app's effectiveness and ease of use. The insights from testing informed further iterations and refinements to the final design.

One challenge we faced was balancing the introduction of new features with maintaining a familiar and intuitive user experience. To address this, we prioritized incremental changes, introducing new features in a way that was easily accessible and understandable to existing users.

Another challenge was ensuring the effectiveness of the SOS feature. To address this, we designed a user-friendly interface that allowed users to easily activate the feature and share their location with emergency contacts.

The redesigned Rapido app incorporates a range of features and micro-interactions aimed at enhancing safety and fostering an emotional connection with female users.

These features, combined with a visually appealing and user-friendly design, contribute to a more secure and empowering experience for female riders.

This project reinforced the importance of conducting thorough user research to identify and address specific needs and pain points. It also highlighted the value of incorporating micro-interactions to enhance the emotional connection between users and the platform.

Looking back, I would have focused more on testing the design with a diverse group of female users, representing different age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds. This would have provided a more comprehensive understanding of user needs and preferences.

The redesigned Rapido app has the potential to significantly impact the company's female user base. The focus on safety, hygiene, and emotional connection creates a more trusted and reassuring experience, encouraging greater adoption and loyalty among female riders.

Future plans for the project include ongoing user feedback gathering, continuous iteration of features, and exploring innovative ways to further enhance the safety and security of female users.

Rapido: Enhancing Safety and Emotional Connection for Women Users

An open-source archive for street lettering and everyday typography across cities, built using AI-assisted workflows alongside hands-on coding.


Through Your Letters is an open-source platform for collecting and preserving street lettering, signage, hand-painted boards, and everyday typography from cities across India.


I built it to give a home to the lettering I had photographed over the years especially the images that stayed quietly in my gallery without ever being documented. The platform now extends that archive to everyone. If something catches your eye, you can photograph it, upload it, and help preserve it.

The project was developed through a combination of product design, AI-assisted workflows, and hands-on coding.


I used Ai tools to shape the experience and did trials with AI assisted layouts and tools to explore ideas, translate designs into working interfaces, and accelerate parts of development. Manual coding, testing, debugging, and refinement remained an important part of making the platform work reliably.


Vikalp Mishra helped with the code and shaped the backend architecture, making it possible to turn the idea into a functioning platform.

Through Your Letters: An AI-Assisted Archive of Street Lettering

This case study details the design process of a backend tool for Travel Quest, a fictional travel platform that specializes in curating local and unique travel experiences. The goal was to create a robust solution for Travel Quest's internal teams, enabling them to efficiently manage content, track performance, and utilize data for informed decision-making. The project focused on enhancing the Experience Section of the platform, a key feature showcasing curated local adventures and activities. 

Travel Quest was facing challenges in managing their growing library of experiences. Content curation, performance tracking, and data analysis were time-consuming and inefficient. The lack of a centralized platform for managing content and accessing data hindered decision-making, leading to inefficiencies in promoting and optimizing experiences.

The primary problem was the lack of a robust backend tool that could address the following issues:

I also gained valuable experience in designing data visualizations, integrating AI features, and creating a user-friendly experience for complex backend functionalities.

Travel Quest Experience Backend: Empowering Local Travel with Data and Design

I have had the opportunity to work closely with Akankshya, and she is a talented digital product designer who is hardworking, dependable, and a very quick learner.  

One of her biggest strengths is her understanding of front-end architecture, which helps her create design solutions that are not only thoughtful but also practical and realistic to implement. Whenever she faces a complex problem, she approaches it as a challenge, iterates quickly, and finds appropriate solutions without getting stuck.  

She is also an excellent design representative in cross-functional teams and communicates well with both design and engineering stakeholders. 

Akankshya has built a strong understanding of how to work with AI in her design process and has developed her own structured workflows to improve speed and quality.
